Consumer unit upgrade in a 1930s semi

An old plastic fuse box offered limited protection and several circuits were poorly labelled. We tested the installation first, corrected two minor faults, fitted a modern unit and mapped every circuit. The owners received certification and a clear explanation of the new protection on the same day.
